Not to brag about how great I am, but I can't even tell you how hard I work at the end of the year. Between assessments, reviews, the picnic, Transition Day (including luncheon and dance), and report card grades, I feel like I'm in overdrive. Okay, I promised myself that this would be a short post, so here goes.
We had another ultrasound today and everything looks great. Matthew is weighing in at 2 pounds 7 ounces and Hailey is weighing in at 2 pounds 5 ounces. They are looking great and everything is on target! Matthew swung around again and his head is once again nuzzled in my cervix ("nuzzled in my cervix" is not a phrase that I ever thought I would write!).
I left for the hospital right from school and Bill left work early, went to BJ's and met me at the hospital. He found my favorite water at BJ's and bought a case. As he was in his trunk to get me a bottle, he locked his keys in the trunk. There was nothing to do at this point, so we went in for the ultrasound - we were waiting for about an hour (why bother making appointments?) and when we left, we went home to get his extra set of keys. When we were driving up, we noticed that most of the house was all finished being sided...those guys worked their asses off today! The best part about it is that I absolutely LOVE it!!! It's beautiful and exactly what I imagined. I am so happy. Then we had to drive all the way back to Columbia. We ate dinner at Baja Fresh (I ate so much and so quickly that it truly was disgusting). Then we went to get his car and drove back home. I couldn't be happier that we are home...It feels so good to have my feet up and to be doing NOTHING!!!
So, that's the latest...things are good and I'm working my ass off - only 8 more 5 AM wake-ups!!! I love the end of school. As hard as I work during it, it all pays off when I don't have to go back! TTYL!
