I officially have gestational diabetes - YUCH!!! I don't know exactly what this means yet, but I need to make an appointment with a Diabetes specialist and pick up a Glucometer at my OB's office. I will update more in a little bit when the Diabetes guy calls me back...would it be ironic if I called him Sugar? That may be his nickname.
The good things:
- This is the best thing for the babies.
- I only have about 6-8 weeks until the babies are here, so even if I don't like the diet, I won't have to "suffer" for too long.
- I eat pretty well already, so I'm not sure what Sugar can tell me.
- My babies won't be gigantic when they come out...they'll be normal!
