If I could just have a little fairy that sat on the edge of the crib and put the pacifiers back in when they fell out, I'd be getting a lot more sleep!
Other than that, things are going well. Nursing is going well for both babies...they both have their own boob so I'm sure that they're happy with that piece of real estate. Bill and I are taking shifts at night, so that's helping us both out with sleep. My Mom is still here and helping us a ton during the day...just having someone around when I'm showering or we're taking a nap is really helpful...plus, she's keeping us fed and laundered! My sister is coming to town today, so our house will get a little more crowded, but I can't wait to see her. She's so excited too...it'll be fun!
Since our flood a couple of weeks ago, repairs have slowed down, but they're back on track now. We got a call this morning that they are going to replace the pad for the basement carpet tomorrow...we also figured out that they're changing out the entire pad, not just the damaged part. What does this mean? Bill needs to spend time today clearing out some of the boxes that we have been storing down there. It also means that they're going to be moving our furniture and while I love our new desk, once it's in place, it's a real PITA to move...that's their problem though. We're not moving furniture with everything else that we have going on.
Any ideas for products that allow me to have the babies outside? I saw this zip up thing one time, but I haven't been able to find it since...I would welcome any ideas!
I am in love with the babies...I just can't help myself. I started their journals yesterday while we were sitting outside in the beautiful weather that the East Coast is getting this week. It's back to school week here in MD and I am just fine being at home. I thought I would miss it more, but I couldn't imagine leaving these two! Today's conquests? Using the double breastfeeding pillow and cutting some nails. I'll let you know how these two things go...we had our first baths last night...too cute! They screamed the entire time, but they smelled so yummy when we were finished! More to come...
