Dirty Little Secrets

Okay, I have four...

1. I would totally get a tummy tuck...or other forms of plastic surgery.
2. I watch Days of Our Lives...that's horrible b/c I am not a soap-y at all, but I watch it...what can I say? The reason I bring this up is because there are two women on the show that are pregnant and they are growing at amazingly fast paces. If I could get my pregnancy done and over with that quickly, I may consider more kids! It just blows my mind that not only are these shows totally unrealistic in their content (your brother is really your uncle, but then he fathered our mother OR we took your memory away, but you'll get it back unless you drink coffee every day...blah, blah, blah), but then they go and mess with a universally known fact that pregnancies typically last 40 weeks...they are really squeezing this into like...ummm...4 weeks.
3. I put on Public Television (Sesame Street) the other day when both babies were screaming for their bottles and I hadn't made them yet!
4. I offered to scan all of my family's childhood pictures and make them CDs of the pictures. That's not that dirty, but the fact that I am looking forward to it is...sick, isn't it? I love going through old photos and remembering things. The fact is that I remember very little of my childhood. I don't know why, but I can't remember simple things like trick or treating, playing hide and see, or moving out of our first house. I know these things happened, but I have no recollection. I can remember making up dance routines (specifically to Donna Summer's "She Works Hard for the Money"), going to sleep when it was still light out, my brother escaping from the house buck naked, a Fisher Price man hitting the glass to the breezeway, and spitting on my sister's head when we were in our bunkbeds. There are no pictures of these things, but they are my memories. It's amazing what you remember and how you remember it, isn't it? Anyway, I'm hoping that some of these photos will ignite some memory of something and I'll have a full record again! Maybe this is why I am taking as many pictures of my kids as possible...I don't want them to forget!

Have a great day!
