I just counted...

We went through 14 bibs yesterday. They wear bibs most of the day...for meals, bottles, and play time (thanks to drooling like crazy). That means that since they were awake for 12 hours, we used roughly a bib per child every two hours! Oh wait...take out about 3 hours for naps and that's roughly 1.5 bibs per hour for both...or .77 bibs per child per hour. YIKES!!!

Okay, so how many diapers did we use? Fourteen! That must be my magic number! I can't even imagine how many wipes we used...I use those for a lot of things (poopy clean ups which has increase substantially since we started baby foods, boogie wipes for those dry and crusty lovelies, hand wipes, spit up wipes, carpet cleaners...you name it, I can use a wipe on it)!

I wonder how many jars of food we went through. We fed them cereal at all three meals. They finished 3.5 jars at breakfast, 3.5 at lunch, and 3 at dinner. So, that's a grand total of 10 jars of baby food plus cereal plus formula! Bet you thought I'd somehow get it to be fourteen...I'm not that OCD! It's crazy around here! I just wanted to get those numbers down so that I could remember them.

I was going to tally up how much money this cost us per day, but I can't bring myself to do that right now. I will someday, but it just hurts a little right now. What do you use a lot of?

When we brought the babies home from the hospital, we were using 24 diapers per day! Thank God that doesn't last long- otherwise Husband was going to buy some stock in Pampers lol

Let's see, what do I use a lot of nowadays... Nesquik, Wipes (we use them for everything here too!), and Popsicles. Don't tally the cost now, you will regret it :) At our peak of using babyfood (around 9-10m) we were up to about 14 stage 2 jars a day between the duo. You can imagine we were glad to see that grocery bill go!

I use alot of everything. With 6 people in the house, everything goes fast. We use approx 8 rolls of toilet paper a week, yes, more than one per day. A 14oz box of cereal a day, a gallon of milk a day, and let's not forget laundry detergent.....2-3 loads of laundry per day, and now that my kids are between 60-100 lbs, no more baby loads.
When the kiddos were little, I had 3 in diapers for a long time, so, I don't even want to think about diapers, but we were using a diaper service are were getting 150/week...that's 21.4/day....yuck, glad that's so over.

Oops, sorry, I forgot to put what we use a lot of now....

Nesquik (no sugar) - they love chocolate milk every morning, Milk, bread, peanut butter, wipes, fruit snacks, raisins, cheerios, & pop tarts. Oh, and crayons - I always have them with me - just in case, I need to keep them busy for a little while!

Just you wait until the twins are teens!

Ditto using tons of bibs. TONS. I just counted what was in our dirty laundry pile (that pile started 18 hours ago).... 18 bibs. These two drool like there is no tomorrow. We also are using a lot of burp cloths these days now that they started rice cereal. Also diapers, especially the past two days!

oh I remember those days. Now I just go through snacks, food, drinks like crazy! And anytime you'll do any kind of activity you'll get used to doing two things... 1) asking if there is a twin discount 2) doubling the price of everything in your head. It's amazing how much food and stuff babies go through in a day!
