First, the shopping carts at BJ's are the best for twin moms!!! They have side by side openings with leg things for each kid. It's kind of hard to explain, but think about a regular kid holder and then put another one right next to it. It even has two very difficult to open buckles. I "heart" them sooooo much!
Second, has this ever happened to you? I went to BJ's which is like a freaking miracle b/c they have those awesome carts, so I can actually fit large items into my cart rather than cramming them in the bottom of the stroller. It's also miraculous b/c we haven't been out of the house in days due to colds and rainy/cold/generally crappy weather. BJ's is about 20-25 minutes away from our house, so I was going to hit up Target and Old Navy while I was up there...I have some returns and we're in desperate need of toilet paper (TMI? I don't care). So, we finish with BJ's and I'm loading everyone into the car and realize that there is no way that I'm going to be able to do Target and Old Navy b/c I have to pee too much! This is horrible...my little shit of a bladder is going to keep me from two of my favorite places on Earth (and yes, I went before we left the house)! Then I start wracking my brain about whether or not that Target has a family restroom...I don't think it did, but it wasn't worth finding out. If I tried to find out, I'd have to unload both kids, the 39 pounds stroller, strap both kids in, hike my ass in there, get into the restroom, only to find out that the stall wasn't big enough for me and my cruiseship of a stroller...then I'd have to turn it around (which would be impossible, so I'd end up backing out of the restroom anyway), and embarrassingly exit the store without even doing what I needed to do. At which point, I would have to unstrap both kids, put them back in the car, and load the 39 pound stroller back into the trunk...not worth it!!!
Third, there were these really nice ladies at BJ's and they were fawning over my kids. One of them put her arm around me and told me that she just found out that she is about to be a grandmother...yes, she fucking touched me. No, I don't know her. It's just so hard to be mean to a person when they're being so nice to your kids! Just had to vent about that...it was nice to get out of the house though!
