This Makes Me Very Sad

This article made me very sad...I cannot say whether what the family did was right or wrong...I don't know all of the circumstances, but this poor kid. Now he feels like he doesn't have a place in this world...

It also makes me sad that they're thinking about freezing adoptions to the U.S. I'm not saying we're a perfect country, but so many adoptions have been dreams come true...to take that away from other families and children is very sad.

Here is the article if you haven't already read it.

That woman should be arrested and locked up. There are obvious ways to go about getting help with children that may have emotional issues. This is so sad...

That is very sad. I can't imagine what it must of been like for the family to get to that point and I can't imagine what it will be like for the little boy now.

How horrible. What if that child had not been adopted? Would she have just left him at a foster care place. This is horrible. That boy should be treated as if he was there own. What a terrible mother!

I'm left scratching my head on this one....

Athe child has psychological problems?

When/how did this ever seem like a good idea or the "right" thing to do?

Wow.

What an idiot. Seriously. She should be deported, like on a raft with no food or water.

This story makes me so mad. Talk about child abuse. When you adopt, the child becomes YOURS. It's not a piece of merchandise you can just send back if you don't like it. It really makes me angry.

This made me very sad as well for multiple reasons. Thank you for posting, I wish more people cared enough to talk about issues that do not directly pertain to themselves but humanity as a whole--which DOES effect all of us.

Wow. I am just blown away after reading that! I just find it so hard to believe that she felt she had no other choice than to send the child back to Russia. I hope there is a serious investigation into this and that it leads to the insurance that something like it never happens again!

It is so sad. I can only imagine what must have happened to make her feel she had no other choice. And poor kid - nobody deserve that.
