Okay, if you don't know where I stand on minivans, then it's clear that I haven't written much about it on my blog...
I have a love/hate relationship with them.
I love the fact that they are so easy to maneuver and I am jealous of those fancy sliding doors that make it impossible to slam someone else's car door (not that that's ever happened to me...no...never).
I hate the fact that when I pull up to the gym on a weekday morning, it's like an invasion. I hate the fact that I can never tell which one carries my friends because they all look the same (hello...friends...put some damn stickers on the back of yours, so I don't go waving furiously at strangers).
Maybe I'm a minivanist...someone who discriminates against minivans. There...I said it. I seriously hate them...with a passion.
This video made me think a little differently. I'm of the understanding that this is an actual ad campaign...I love it. Whoever thought of it is a genius b/c now I don't look at minivans as alien invaders, but possibly holding some pretty cool people.
BTW...I typically hate video posts and skip right over them (admit it, you're the same way), but this is worth it...

Does this mean you are getting a 'swagger wagon'?
How do I turn off your blog music, so I can hear the video? Or do you have the youtube link?
I love my minivan. Love it. And that video is hilarious.
I love my minivan too. even though I swore I would NEVER drive one. But it is a stage and it is a stage that involves carpooling...lots of water cups...and the need to crawl back and change diapers or whatever.
Love your new header thingy.
Man my minivan wishes it could be this cool.
Is it me, or is the part where the dad squeezes the nipple of the bottle (around 2:20) just wrong?
Love this video. We've started thinking about swagger wagons ourselves, but haven't gotten up the courage to move past the thinking stage. Ugh.
oh, i flat-out hate them.
WILL NOT DRIVE ONE!
And yes, I do scroll over - I didn't even watch it - absolutely no patience to wait while it buffers (what does that mean?>??)
HILARIOUS!!!!! I adore my van (honda). Hubs had to drive it for a couple of weeks and *hated* going back to his truck. Hahaha!
I just saw this on Youtube earlier this week and was dying! (No minivans in my Trenches though - I drive a huDge SUV.)
ha! too funny! Proud owner of a Sienna myself. With 3, we needed it. LOVE it (oh - the automatic sliding doors! the best!!) 8 seats, multiple arrangements, TONS of room...I'm not afraid to admit I have one and love it :-) ha!
I firmly believe that the day that we buy a mini van will be the day that I officially lose my mind. And, any dignity I have left as a woman.
