I just wanted to let you know that you are the best math teacher I've ever had. I appreciate your order in teaching and method to go about each lesson more than ever. The past two years I've had math teachers that aren't necessarily hard, but they make it so much more difficult to understand. You clearly showed examples of each type of different problem. I just wanted to thank you for being such a great teacher (I know a couple years late), but I thought you would be happy to hear that I always think "WOW Mrs. T would've made this make so much more sense." Hope everything's going well with the twins :) and they don't make you too crazy. Thanks for everything and the best of luck with your family!
So nice, right???

That is the sweetest thing!
It's never too late to let someone know they're important. :)
That is so amazing! A good teacher really does make all the difference. Kudos to you!
Awesome validation! I think it's funny that they mentioned the twins making you crazy since you call them "the crazies."
I LOVE IT!!! so sweet.
Awesome!!! Math teachers are Coolsquared!
Awesome, Rebecca.
Grateful people are such a blessing maybe because they're so rare???
And what? When are you going back to work? Tell all.
Aww!! That is so sweet! You should print out the email and frame it. Seriously!
Warms your heart doesn't it!! You rock girl!! I always had HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, did I mention HORRIBLE math teachers....or maybe I was just horrible in math!!
This IS awesome!!!
I hung onto a few of the farewell emails I got when I announced I was leaving my job. I haven't gone back to read them, but they're in my inbox (along with 1,800 other emails...no joke...but that's another story). One of these days, when I need a little outside reassurance, I may just dig one up. :)
That is the sweetest thing!

It is so nice to hear it, isn't it? I remember you at your school years ago and how the kids looked at you with such respect and appreciation. It made me very proud to your mom!
FRAME that!!! Awesome!
Here's a nice kick in the teeth I got this past week. One of my students parents gushed about how great her son's bus driver was and that she got him and the aide on the bus gift certs for the movies for Christmas and now Applebees gift certs for the end of the year as thank yous.
Later, I looked at my aide and asked her if I was forgetting gifts she'd given us at Xmas. Nope...nothing. Nothing at the end of the year either - not even a card or a thank you or a bye. She didn't even send her son to school the last 2 days. WTF? So...you're saying your kid's bus driver is more valuable than I am?? Thanks. Appreciate it. Sorry I told you that you had to stop treating your 13 year old like a 2 year old and that I made him do things for himself. I wouldn't take it back for all the gift cards your money would buy.
