Well, not this week...not me!
Maybe next week.
Here are the funny things that have occurred in the past 24 hours though:
- G.G. takes vitamins while drinking her wine...that is so weird! Yes, she reads this, but why not just enjoy the wine? No, we must fortify it with vitamins and minerals. I almost died when I looked over and saw her guzzling her vitamins with Pinot Grigio...she's a nut!
- G.G. and I caught up on a chick flick last night...Bridget Jones' Diary was on and we decided to watch it and drink wine...it's what we do! So, we're toward the end...you know...the big fight scene. I love the part where they stop fighting to sing the person Happy Birthday. Anyway, G.G. went to take a sip of her wine and clinked the glass on her teeth. I don't know why, but I found this hysterically funny, but knew she would choke if I laughed...but I couldn't keep it in. I chuckled a little bit. Then she chuckled a little bit. Then I fucking lost it. It was one of those laughs where you're trying to stop b/c you know you're making the person choke (literally), but it just keeps getting funnier. I nearly pissed myself when she stumbled to the sink and coughed up her wine. I love those laughs...we cried for a little while and went back to Miss Jones in her panties trying to catching Mr. Darcy in the snow.
- So, the kids have been navigating the stairs by themselves for the past few weeks. Several times, I have said aloud, "I know they're going to fall down...it's inevitable." Truer words have never been spoken. I was in the basement changing Matt's diaper when all of the sudden, Hailey, or a blur resembling Hailey, came tumbling down the stairs...the entire flight. I swallowed my heart and crawled over to her and she was okay. I checked her eyes, her head, and her extremities (all the while trying to figure out whether or not our insurance would work out of state) and she was fine. Then she got really close to my face and, through tears, yelled "POOP!!!" She scared herself so bad that she shat herself...poor baby. She was fine...I couldn't believe it. It was like a cartoon where the character is just a blur of limbs and hair...nuts.
PS - Still missing Husband...a lot.

I LOVE those kind of laughs, too...except the pi$$ing yourself part...that's not so fun. HA!
So glad Hailey is OK from her tumble...and you, too. I can only imagine you almost shat yourself seeing it happen.
(Wow, two bodily functions covered in such a short comment. I think I'm done for the evening.) :)
Glad Hailey's ok from her fall! I feel bad giggling that she literally scared the crap outta herself though! Poor thing!!
I'd love an evening with a chick flick and a glass of wine!! (and those laughs that you just can't contain!)
Hey! Kendra also took a tumble (and is now sporting a lovely fat lip) on Saturday.
I know what you mean when you say your heart stopped for a minute.
Glad she's okay (other than stinky nappy) and that you're enjoying your time away.
LOVE Bridget Jones's Diary - I laugh so much during movies like that. But my best? My Best Friend's Wedding!
Teach them to lie down onto their bellies at the top of the steps and slide down. Kids love this because they can really pick up some speed sliding down on their bellies.
So far so good in Tyler NOT falling down the stairs, but it's only a matter of time; I'm sure of it.
Maybe G.G. should make a vitamin-infused wine. She'd make millions!
The kids falling down can make my heart skip a beat, it's definitely an adrenaline rush.
Glad everyone is okay!
i thought you said hailey said "pool" after falling down the stairs...i didn't realize she had pooped herself! ha ha ha....
have fun at daddy's!
oh my stars, my boys are two, and have fallen down steps more times than i can count, and EVERYTIME i have to drag my heart out of my throat.
thank goodness for wine huh :)
Hee hee! This post cracked me up. Isn't wine supposed to be good for you now? I can't keep up with all the studies. Maybe taking a vitamin with it gives it a little extra kick or something.
And poor Hailey! Although I did laugh at the "Poop!" part. Oh, kids.
Love me some wine too girl but that is freaking hilarious about taking her vitamins with wine!! I would have flipped out if I would have witnessed Zoe falling down the stairs. Your story is the third story in a few days apart that I have read about, crazy!! I'm so glad she is ok, poor baby.
