Having a sick kid sucks.
You feel bad for them.
There is a limited amount of things you can do to make them feel better.
Having a sick kid sucks even more when you have plans for your anniversary...the hotel in which you got married, dinner reservations, in-laws to babysit for the entire night, a new dress, and the anticipation of a night away.
That's when it really sucks.
She still has a low fever, but today she has a little rash on her face. If it's Hand Foot and Mouth Disease, she's extremely contagious and there is a high chance of Matt getting it too.
That means we'll have to cancel our plans.
That makes me sad...so now I'm sad for Hailey, nervous for Matt, and bummed for myself and Husband.
Hate to be selfish, but it just sucks.
Hope it gets better soon!

We had a sucky week last week, too...the girlies got summer colds, and we had to cancel our mini-vacation plans...AND that was Hubby's last week of summer vacation. First and foremost, I felt bad for the girls, of course, but I couldn't help feeling a little bad for me, too. :(
Hope Hailey feels better soon, and that Matt avoids it altogether!!!
Oh no! I hate to hear that she is still sick and that things had to be cancelled. Maybe just postponed instead.

That totally sucks, and I don't think it's selfish to say so!
Ah, life. Give her a chance - she'll bounce back fast. And, Matt? He's too fast for germs right now so my prediction is he won't get it.
I feel your pain! Jacob came down with some mystery illness Monday afternoon and we were supposed to leave 1st thing Wednesday morning for our vacation. I thought for sure he'd be sick all week or all of us would come down with it. The flu ruined Christmas, Easter and the start of summer for us...why not our only vacation, too? thank god, amazingly, it was very short lived and everyone was fine and we were able to go with no sickies!! whew!!
