Letters From The Brink...

Dear Luvs,

You suck.  I will never buy your crappy product again.  I have never had a kid leak through their diaper and hopefully never will again as your diapers will never touch my kids' skin ever again.  Guess it's back to the drawing board for you, huh?

Love, Me

Dear Pampers,

YOU ROCK!!!

Love, Me

Dear Wal-Mart,
I am angry with you on so many levels, but currently because you were out of my diapers.  You weren't out of all Pampers, but apparently there was a run on size 4 because those were the only ones that were depleted.  I blame you for the aforementioned issue with Luvs and just for bringing down our civilization on the whole.  I mean seriously...they've created entire websites about your clientele...that's gotta tell you something.

Love, Me

Dear Matt,

Maybe if you didn't drink half of the bath water last night, you wouldn't have peed your brains out in your sleep and woken up at 4:30 AM crying "I soaking wet", but I still love ya.  You're a good boy and I loved cuddling with you in my bed while we waited for Hailey to wake up.

Love, Mama

Dear Husband,

Can't wait to see you today!  I've missed you!!!

Love, Wife

Dear Fire Alarm People,

I saw a blinking red light every 12 seconds last night.  Typically the light is supposed to stay green.  Does that mean you were secretly taping me?  I forget what I learned about mysterious fire alarm that could be secretly taping you.  No worries though...you didn't get anything exciting!

Love, Me

Dear Hailey,

You have been an absolute doll for this entire trip.  Outside of your sleeping issues (and who could blame you b/c those PNPs were not comfortable at all), you have been a very good girl and Mommy really appreciates it.  I love you.

Love, Mommy

Dear Family,

Thanks so much for helping me take care of the Crazies.  I really appreciate all those extra sets of eyes and hands when I most needed them.  Thank you for understanding when I would ignore bad behavior because all I wanted to do was eat for a minute without reprimanding one of the Crazies.  What would I have done at times without one of you there to help me out.  Best line of the entire week?  "I would kill myself if I had to work here" while the Kid's Karyoke Marathon was going on.  Good times and great memories!

Love, Sister/Daughter

I so agree about Luvs and Pampers! When Pampers changed their Cruisers, we were not happy with the change and tried all the other diapers. We found that while the Dry-Max is not as good as the original, it is still head and shoulders (bottom and peepee?) above the rest.

We have our daipers delivered from Amazon. We're on an auto order thing that gives us free shipping and 15% off, which makes it just as cheap as walmart or BRU with a coupon. I'm not trying to be an advertisement here. I really, really, love having the daipers delivered every month and recommend it to everyone!

Yeah for Hailey being such a good girl!! And for those extra snuggles with Matt :-)

I, too, like Pampers above the rest. I'll buy huggies if I have a coupon and they're on sale...I just send them to daycare where I know they are changed every 2 hours...but Pampers is my #1 and I always use them at home!

Wow, Matt used an adjective! Isn't language development in kids fascinating?

Sorry for being a stranger these past two weeks. I will be much better very soon.

I am a Luv's fan, actually. If I wasn't worried about cost and didn't have to have 2 in diapers, then I would go with Pampers. As far as night time, I used to use Huggies over nights, Pampers 12hours, or even pull ups. They seem to be doing better now, though, so we are able to just stick with one.

I'm sure you'll really enjoy being home again. Traveling is never 100% fun.

It sounds like you guys had an awesome time! I've been going through a diaper experiment to see if I could get a cheaper brand and it works just as well as Pampers. No such luck. I think Luvs has the no leak guarentee. We should write them.

Apparently I am in the minority, but I am a big fan of Luvs. We have had great luck with them, and I have used them pretty much constantly since my kiddos outgrew Pampers Swaddlers. When they start to leak at night, we just go up a size for overnight...but my girls save up all their pee for the nighttime, so even Huggies and Pampers leak at times for us.

Ah well...Glad you had a good trip!

Hmm, I like luvs but I liked pampers with my son.
I do trade to Huggies overnights at night with my daughter and did with my son too. They are super absorbent, try them, they rock at night! Also on long road trips:)

Ha Ha...love the letters! AND..I am SO glad my crazy kids are not the only ones who drink bath water. Really??? There are just so many things nasty about that and yet, I can't get them to stop! Thanks for making me laugh :)

Amazingly, I am pretty indifferent with diapers. That is a miracle considering my never ending opinions.

You noticed the damn fire alarm too? I also was convinced someone was taking photos of me every 10 seconds! Like mother, like daughter, huh? Had a most wonderful time with you and the twins - would do it again in a heartbeat!
