Reading from the book...to hear it in my own voice is just terrible. Why is this shit so mesmerizing to kids???
When I read it, I feel like The Exorcist...a voice that is not mine is talking through me...sigh.

Oh no, I just had a thought - am I going to have to read, watch and somewhat learn about Thomas the Train now? Oh.Lord.Help.Me.Now!!!!

My son is also obsessed with Thomas. One of the worst shows around! There needs to be another big train show so we can brainwash them away from Thomas.
I don't know how to fix the stupid email thing. I might be moving my blog to blogger, maybe that will help.
Jacob likes trains but Adam is almost obsessed with them!! He will seriously fight Jacob for them and he does not care that he's half his brother's size...he holds his own!
He was funny the other night though. He always says "Choo Choo" so I tried to get him to say "Train." Here's how it went:
Me: Adam, can you say train?
Adam: Choo Choo!
me: No, train!
A: Choo Choo!
Me: T-R-A-I-N!
A: C-H-O-O C-H-O-O!
Have you read Bob The Builder yet? For some reason, the way it is worded, I stumple over the words.
This is coming from the English major who does nothing but read.
