I Kinda Think "White Christmas" is Racist...and other merriment going on with the Crazies

I figure that not too many people are reading blogs the night before Christmas Eve (Christmas Eve Eve?), so I have a lower chance of offending anyone.

I can only remember the beginning of most songs.  I don't know why...maybe that's because I start singing them and get distracted...gee, what could I get distracted by?  Two screaming Crazies?  Yeah...that's it!

I keep finding myself starting to sing White Christmas (on key of course).

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know

See?  Racist...and I thought we'd come so far...sigh...stupid white people(now you'll never sing that song the same way again...I've taken your innocence).

Anyway, tomorrow is Christmas Eve.  We still have one train table, one dollhouse, two tricycles, and 7 presents to get assembled andor wrapped.  That's not too shabby!  I still have to wrap stocking stuffers, but I'll just use those annoying scraps of paper for that.  We also have to go shopping the Dog's gifts...seriously...we do that...kill me now!

Tomorrow we're going to put together our Gingerbread Village.  I made the mistake of showing the Crazies the box today at lunch and then suffered through begging and crying for the next 30 minutes.  Note to self:  When you are going to do an activity tomorrow, don't show them the box (and the candy and the icing) today!  DUH!!!

Tomorrow we're also going to go church...yeah, I'm one of those people.  We only make it on the really important days.  Shame on me...yadda, yadda, yadda.  I think it would be so much easier if they had church in the afternoon like they are tomorrow...Sunday mornings are ROUGH!!!

I will also give my family their Christmas PJ's tomorrow...first time ever of starting this tradition.

Our Christmas Eve menu consists of mozzarella sticks, french onion stuffed mushrooms, chicken bites, crab dip, crudites, chips/dip, and shrimp cocktail.  Sounds perfect, right???  I love appies!!!

I don't know if you've seen the Christmas movie Santa Claus is Coming to Town, but the Bad Guy's name is Bergermeister Meisterberger (and he has a German accent...racism rears its ugly head again...poor Nazis).  Hailey keeps telling me that "Meisterberger no like kids," but the way she says it sounds like "Masturbator no like kids."  I keep trying to correct her, but it's hysterical at the same time!  I wonder what the people thought at the Kids' Zone this morning!

That's all for Christmas Eve Eve.  Hope you enjoys yours!!!!

LOL! We call the day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Adam (because Adam came before Eve.) Lol I know I am silly, but it was funny to me! The appies sound great! Yummy!

I so, so, so wanted to start the christmas pjs tradition but I could not find holiday pjs anywhere in the state of Maryland! Not G.ap, ON, Carters, Tarjay, Hellmart-nada! And by no pjs I mean no footie pjs. "foobies" LOL

I'm ready to get this party started. And, no way, no how could I do a village, a house is my breaking point.

Yup...you've taken my innocence.

The thought of Bing being a racist makes me cry.

While you're feeling sorry for the Nazis, i guess masterbaters are right up there too at this time of year, Christmas is so hard for so many!!
Let's just say my twins aged about 2 at the time got mixed up with Fabric & "fuck it", which really made us whip lash our heads around as we don't swear in front of the children!! Love Posie

Don't wrap those big gifts have them up and ready. Each of our three are getting these rocking chairs and they are going to be exposed and ready for their booties to sit in them when they come down the stairs.

Merry Xmas!

I'm totally coming to your place for dinner...I love appetizer meals!! delic!! (And I've have WAY more fun at your place than with my in laws tonight...or out-laws as another friend and I like to refer to our families...)

I had a friend in college whose last name was Bader. We all called him Master :-)

We are lucky on the lack of assembly this year. Just one dollhouse to put together, which should be pretty easy! The boys are getting a bunch of Train stuff so we just have to assemble some tracks and put up the buildings - easy peasy! :-) (Much better than years past...train tables being finished at 1am (DH built it himself last year) and those stupid kitchens with 5,000 pieces!)

Sadly, we aren't going ot be able to make it to church this year :-( Christmas Eve mass falls right when MIL wants to have dinner and then we have a 2 hour drive tomorrow AM after presents to get to my sisters...very sad but just not going to fit in! :-(

Merry, Merry Christmas to you and the Crazies!
