Dolli-Mama is hosting this little party and I'm attending! It's official...52 weeks of me...can't get much better.
Okay, so here's what I was able to give myself amidst colds, vertigo, and various other kid-related crap.
Week #1: Hair cut and good conversation with Hair Dresser.
Week #2: Manicure...anyone tried this gel stuff? I love it and it lasts!
I hadn't really planned the manicure, but I was dejected from vertigo, came home to make my doctor's appointment, and decided that I needed a little pampering. It was so worth it. Now my world is still spinning, but my nails look nice!
Oh, and I also decided to book a mini-facial for next month. Planning ahead on my pampering...everyone needs a little something to look forward to!

Love it! I really need a manicure too, that's a great idea for next time!
de-lurking!Lumos from Expecto Patronum.
Hi there!
Manicures are the best! Glad you got some ME time! Take care, Andrea
I love talks with my hair dresser!!! we both have in-law issues and vent to each other.
I could sooo use a manicure right now - hand are so dry and cuticles are awful! eek! excuse me while I go get some lotion.
Should be getting a facial at the end of the month...but sure could use a massage right now...tussling with a student today killed my back!! ugh!
For the past few visits, the entire fam has been coming with me to my hair appointments. The girls get their bangs trimmed while they sit in Mommy's lap, and Daddy holds them when we switch off. While that's super convenient, it dawned on me this month that THAT SUCKS!!! My hair appointments are supposed to be about ME!!! I've gotta rethink the logistics on this one...
Oh, and on the delurking comment...are you telling me I should continue to wear my Christmas-sock-monkey fleece pants? (I have changed my socks since my last comment, though, you'll be glad to know.)
Good for you! I need a mani & pedi - booking that soon.
Hey, you've been joking about this vertigo, but it sounds serious. What are you going to do about it? DO you feel okay driving?
Hmm, this week I went to the hairdresser (it was essential to tame the crazy curly hair) and last week I had some me time which I have not blogged about yet.
Maybe I should? Does anyone care?
AWESOME!!!! You are planning ahead, too! That is just great!!!
What is going on with your vertigo? I could NOT handle feeling dizzy.
Hanging my head in shame - nope nothing for me this week. BUT, C is home so that will soon change.
I have commented before but not often so I guess I am a lurker!!!
I bought a few maternity shirts at Old Navy yesterday for me. Does that count? Althought I NEED them, and it wasn't very much fun (and they aren't very cute...). Anyone have suggestions on cute maternity clothes?!?!
