So, rather than lamenting about my birthday (which I've been doing for the first part of this month), I'm going to embrace it and come up with a list of things that would make me smile. BTW, it's not my birthday...why would I post this list on my birthday? It wouldn't give my Daddy Warbucks any time to shop if I didn't give it him ahead of time! So, apart from World Peace, normal looking knees, and someone to come to my house and do laundry, here are a few of my heart's desires:

Car detailing - seriously...the thing looks like a bomb went off. It's gross and I love my car...why do I abuse her?
Bike - now that Knee has slightly recovered, it's time to get out there...I want to do my first bike race by the time I'm 40...I'd also like a real genuine garage in which to keep said bike, but it'll come...eventually.

Bath stuff - have I told you guys that every Monday night is Mom's Bath Night in my house? I look forward to it like you wouldn't believe. Crazies are in bed. Husband is at the gym. Brad Wom.ack is being taken care of on the DVR. I relax for about 30 minutes in some heavenly product from LUSH and read Kindle (hoping desperately that I don't drop it into the bathwater)! It's the best way to end a Monday!!!

Bathing Suit - as much as I don't really want to face the fact that I will be showing 2/3 of my body on a daily basis in just a few short months, I figure that I should at least have a cute suit to do it in. Love this one (and it has sucky-in stuff)!

Remote for the camera - Okay, so I got the tripod for Christmas, but wouldn't a remote be nice too? Then I could not look like a sweaty mess by the time I ran into the picture, but I'd be calmly posed with my family and click the button whenever I felt it was right. I love control!!!

Bobbi Brown Beach Fragrance - who doesn't like to smell nice? The beach is nice...I need to smell like it immediately! I've never actually inhaled this fragrance (can't speak about other things, but not this fragrance...that's for sure), but I've heard it's lovely.

So funny though...I spent all this time putting this post together and when Husband offered to let me do a little online shopping the other day, I totally jumped at it. Retail therapy complete, my birthday present is spent! I thought I'd share this anyway though in case you guys needed any ideas for completely frivolous things that you'd want!

I'm all about the Reese Cups & lightscoop for the camera. I need a lightscoop too...I hear they rock! Reese Cups are my favorite.
Whenever my husband is feeling loving towards me, he brings me a Reese's. It's his "love language" I guess. And as for Roc? I have been using anti-aging/wrinkle products for several months now, but I didn't really like Roc when I tried it. I use Loreal Revitalift Complete Eye Lift and Loreal Youth Code night/day cream. I tell you what, that Youth Code cream feels so luxurious and velvety. Can't afford the super expensive stuff, but I liked the Loreal better than Roc.

Love your list...and I love the bath night idea. It has been so long since I have taken a nice long bath, mostly because the tub is full of toys! My mission for today is to order a Kindle cover. I am buying from Etsy since Amazon doesn't have much for the Kindle 2 anymore.
Is that swimsuit from VS? I love it! I want a new one, as I have recently realized that all three suits I own and semi-like are black and white!
Wow apparently I'm not the aspiring photographer I always thought I was. I've never seen a light scoop! Though I would love a smaller lens, an external flash and a tripod.
BTW I love the white top.
I'd also sell my soul for a HUGE gift card to the container store, I have so many ideas and too cheap to go buy everything.

Great birthday post! Where do I begin....Reese's are the best! Very cute tops you posted! I hate bathing suit shopping, but this one is very cute! I am totally with you on anything summer! So glad we are almost there! I need to find a good face product to use. I hate getting older! You should totally get some spin shoes! I really think if you are that into it then you need the biker shorts too! :)
