Friday Night Leftovers...why do I feel like the leftovers this week?

  • Became FB friends with one of the Moms from the Crazies' preschool class...am regretting the decision ever since.  She's one of those people that sells everything you could possibly have a party for...I just really hope she doesn't approach me b/c I can't stand that caca.  I know she's probably just trying to make extra money, but it gets obnoxious after a while.

  • Hailey hasn't cried at dance class for 2 whole weeks...holla!!!

  • Matt is in a serious "I want Daddy and not Mommy" stage and it's driving me nuts.  Not because I want all the attention, but because it's over stupid things like who he hands his napkin to when he's finished...stupid!  Daddy change my diaper...Daddy take my shirt off...Daddy read to me...Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy...blah.

  • I'm having a lot of trouble turning 37 this month...WTF?

  • This week has been kind of "blah" for me...I don't know why.  I just feel like I'm in a bit of a rut...it could have something to do with me sending my resignation letter into my school offices and feeling like I have no identity...kill me now for being Nelly Negative...this isn't me.  I'll snap out of it.

  • Stacy & Clinton would kill me lately...I'm spending way too much time in exercise clothes, but on the flip side, I am actually going to the gym too!

  • I'm still doing well at the meal planning, but have recently started to suck at the birthday card resolution...poor BIL is going to take the brunt of me being late on March's cards...sorry, Jeff!

  • Every morning, the Crazies try to get my attention by Matt screaming "Daddy" and Hailey screaming "Mommy" like it's a freaking competition.  It's kind of hysterical.

  • I'm still not a dog person.

  • Laundry can suck my ass lately...

  • BTW...how often are we supposed to see the gyno these days?  Is it still every year even though we don't have to get a PAP every year?

  • We picked up our first Early Bird CSA this week...oranges, apples, grapefruits, spinach, potatoes, butternut squash, humongous carrots (seriously...they're pervy), and garlic.  NICE!

  • What do you have planned for this weekend?  I got nothing...

Thanks to Danifred for this weekly edition of my brain throwing up!

I wish one of these three would want only daddy. They love him dearly and do loads of stuff with him, but most of the time they demand mommy. Walking while holding three little hands, is a bit of a balancing act.

At least you are actually getting to the gym, I'm just wearing the clothes.

Plans for the weekend? Nope, nada.

I am SO with you on folks selling stuff. It just makes me uncomfortable.

The lady that cleans our house we consider a family friend. Her daughter is selling these organic cleaning supplies, she keeps trying to hit me up for. It's really expensive...and I feel like screaming at her (after numerous sales pitches), "Conflict of interest!!! If your mother wants to clean with this stuff, then she should tell me! I haven't made a decision on cleaning supplies in YEARS! And, by the way, that's one of the reasons I have someone to clean the house...so I don't have to smell the bleach and get my hands all dry!" Hahaha!!!

And then I feel bad...what if I am subjecting poor Nana Audrey to harmful chemicals??? And making it so her daughter can't pay her light bill??? :)

My little guy (will be 2 in 2.5 weeks) is usually all about mommy. Seems like my almost 5 month old little girl is gonna want Daddy. I think i'm okay with that. Although, like you said, it would annoy me about the stupid stuff. :)

At least you are going to the gym. I'm sucking at that, but living in gym clothes.

I so want to join a CSA, stupid husband.

Wait, you don't have to get a pap every year? I am so out of the loop. Guess it's time to make that appointment...

I'll be working this weekend-LAME! Oh! I'll also be spending waaaaay to much money at Sam's. Damn bulk food deals (and everything else they sell that I can't pass up)!!

My gyno still "paps" me annually. She does not agree with the new recommendations.

K is SO clingy to me once I walk in the door. Literally clings to my being regardless of what I am doing. DRIVESMEBATSHITCRAZY! She of course saves her shitty diapers for when I get too...ahh true love

Sadly I have to work tomorrow, but hope to get out at a decent time and spend the rest of the wekend playing with the kid!

My kids definitely have picked "sides" T is all about Daddy and B is all about me. It's ridiculous. I'm not even "allowed" to help with socks when T is in a Daddy mood.

I'm babysitting this weekend and catching up on blog reading! Crazy, I know.

I turn 38 this month and it's a struggle for me too. Not sure why. Fear of forty?

Wow! CSA already?!?! Nice! We are still pulling carrots out of the garden from last year (awesome that they can stay in the ground! fresh carrots rock!) Paul has started onions from seed and they're sitting on our kitchen counter. Much more of that to come...
