| Thanks, Danifred...can't wait to meet your baby!!! |
- I've taken back a bookshelf in my house. There are no toys on it. There are no kid books on it. There are picture frames, a salt lamp, a scentsy thing, a speaker for my ipod, a stupid bird, and some glass plates. It's heavenly and I'm not even finished with it.
- I only own three pairs of jeans...well, I own more, but I only wear three. Is that weird? I think i need more.
- Husband and I are planning another visit to this restaurant as a Valentine's Day/My Birthday dinner. I can't freaking WAIT!!! I'm also super-psyched that we're not going out on Valentine's Day. I hate fixed menus.
- The Crazies skipped naps one day this week. Both of them. At the same time. I thought I was going to lose my shit.
- I hate Winter.
- I am loving gel manicures lately. I am REALLY harsh on my nails and don't have time to have one every week. Plus, I get to walk out of there with nails that don't have to dry. Winning...
- Matt did the unthinkable...he walked out of his bedroom in the middle of the night. He said (right out loud), "I need to give my Daddy a kiss and a hug." This will not happen in my house! We will not have children out of their beds at all hours of the night! I'm sure it didn't happen that I had gotten back from my Girl's Night really late and was not in my right mind. It wasn't pretty. We had a chat in the morning...I think he'll see things my way tonight. I may or may not have mentioned the fact that he could go tumbling down the stairs. Yes, I love scare tactics and use them frequently.
- Two more things:
This is why I love Sister
This is why I love Husband.

I used to call Husband when I was running late (usually from work). He would get all aggravated and say, "Don't call me! Just come home!"
I play that in my head sometimes. My gut - even when I'm stuck in line at the grocery store - is to call and tell him I'm OK, it's really crowded at Hellmart, etc., etc. But I really don't think he wants to hear from me. So I might as well drive thru for a latte on the way home, right?
Hope you made a believer out of Matt! I'm so with you on random middle-of-the-nighted-ness...no, thanks! As much as I relish the couple of times I have snuggled with one of my girls in my bed, it cannot become any kind of habit. Ack!
Dinner sounds awesome! We need to plan something soon, too. It's been way too long since we went to dinner...and V-Day and B-Day is coming up for me, too.
Oh man, I totally feel for you on the nap issue. I'll never forget the one day when Garrett and Landon refused to nap and Cole and Bella were just transitioning out of napping and I seriously considered slashing my wrist. They were all so freakin' tired but refusing to nap and all I wanted was like 10 minutes of quiet. I ended up turning on a movie for them and then went upstairs and cried in my bedroom the entire time.
I have two pairs of jeans that I really like, and another that will do. But I don't wear jeans except for the weekends (when I bother to change out of yoga pants, that is!). If I wore jeans on a daily basis, I would definitely want/need three or more pairs.
J and I were supposed to go to dinner tonight, but it's not working out. Boo!
Going back to VOLT?! Take me with you?!
haha i love our chats! and i love my beautiful fetus. what would we do if we couldn't make fun of people? we'd be so boring.
Lately, our creepers (as we have dubbed them) have been appearing in our bed in the middle of the night. We've had to institute a reward system because we were both ready to put traps in the hallway.
our kids are still in cribs, but i'm nervous for the day when they're not b/c i think that i'll find them all over the house. we still have a gate at the top of the stairs, though. i can't trust them!
and you know i'm so excited you're going to volt again! jealous!!
Baby gates my friend, the prisoners are not allowed out of their cell blocks!
I have about 8 pairs of jeans, I only like 2. Sadly I only get to wear them for a day or two before the children use them as a rag and they need to washed.
I totally hate going out on V-day, or any holidays. It's always packed, you get fixed menus, and did I mention the people. The People?! Ugh. I hate people. As a result I'm treating us to a nice dinner for my birthday in early March. That will make up for pointless v-day and it will ensure I get a damn good meal for my birthday!
I have 5 pairs of jeans right now but really only love 1 or 2 of them (still wear them all). Nothing too fun - all rather plain - want a new, fun pair though!
Volt...you'd been there before, right? We don't usually do much for Valentine's Day but we did go out last night to a new Wine Bar and had dinner at one of our local faves (tapas). Yum! We were celebrating DH's birthday. :-)
Adam's still in his crib. I think we moved Jacob and Sarah to their toddler beds around age 3...but I haven't even given thought to moving Adam out yet!
If you look good in all three then good.for.you. I have at least twice that many but really only like one pair. I do not look great in jeans.
Hope naps resume :) Naps are very good!
I have five pairs of jeans, but probably wear four of them regularly.
Unfortunately, my three have to have the ability to leave their rooms at night, because of the bathroom. They get up, go, and go back to sleep. A is the only one who sneaks into our room and complains she is scared.
