Holla at your girl!

Hey folks...break time is over.

Actually, I had a tutoring student not show up, so I actually have two minutes strung together where I can form a whole thought.  It's amazing, right?

So, I've missed you guys.  I really have.

Everything was fine.  I just needed a break.  Life was getting crazy and the Crazies were exhausting me.  Not to say that isn't still happening, but I really need my outlet back.  I have no time for therapy at this point!

So, what's new with you guys?

Here's what's up with us since my last entry:

  • Preschool is officially over for the year (boohoo, throw myself on the floor crying).
  • The Crazies are signed up for soccer this Fall (great...more time spent outside because I'm such the outdoorswoman).
  • We're putting the house on the market (yes, I'm THAT insane).
  • Dog is still a shedding maniac (I want to get a Roomba, but Husband thinks that will send her over the edge).
  • I've gained weight which is totally annoying.
  • The Crazies are almost through the latest round of swimming lessons and still refuse the back float.
  • Hailey had her dance recital last weekend and is still going strong in Tae Kwon Do.  She goes from being sad that Matt doesn't like her to being his best friend.  She still intends on being a princess when she grows up.
  • Matt still won't get back into Tae Kwon Do, but is becoming a master a Angry Birds.  He's still quite awesome and way too smart for his own good.  For instance, his teacher told me he had a challenging day one day.  When I asked him about it, he said, "my day was fine...Mrs. W had the challenging day."  Yes, I'll bet she did.
  • Sibling rivalry is beating my ass into the ground.
  • Putting a house on the market with two Crazies and a shedding dog is enough to put me in the asylum.
  • Now I'm wondering if they still have asylums...or do they call them "mental health retreats" now?
  • I can't use the word "mercurial" in normal conversation without everyone knowing what smut I've read recently.
  • My open house is in less than 2 weeks...I'm dying with how much CRAP we have in our house!!!
That is all...can't wait to hear what's up with you guys.  As a term of me coming back to blogging, I'm not reading any blogs on my Google Reader...only blog peeps who comment on my posts.  It's not that I'm snotty...I'm just lazy and have really weighed my Reader down with blogs that waste my time with too many posts or just illogical blither.  God, maybe that is a bit elitist.

hey girl i'm glad you are back! No need to click over to my blog as it is never updated. Just wanted to let you know that i'm glad you are blogging again

I love Shannon's comment.

Well, if you've been gone for 32 days, there are at least 30 posts for you to read :)

Kidding!

So nice to hear from you - glad you're still alive and kicking.

We're depending on you to show us the way with those Crazies. And you're scaring me silly about 3.

can't wait to hear more about the house - all the best with the decluttering!

Are you planning to stay in your area? Or are you heading North?

I am glad that you have at least been updating FB occasionally. Although have missed out on your gym, pool, play date experiences :)

In my email today, I meant to ask when you would start up again! Good to see you back, lady!

Great to hear from you! How is your knee? I still think of you every time I go to yoga now. I am very conscious not to over-extend or hyper-extend my knee! So happy to hear that the crazies are doing well, albeit even crazier. Best wishes on selling your house. We ended up renting ours to an ex-pat on a 3 year lease last summer; then we moved to Chicago. No kids for us, have for the most part accepted our lot in life and are just focusing on being happy with being alive each day. Thankfully I have pets that I treat like babies. Oh and I don't blog anymore either.

I hear you on the sibling rivalry. Man can my two got at it. Sigh.

I so want to put our house on the market. I'd miss my neighbors, but I'd love to ditch this way too small place.

Breaks are good. :) I take them all the time when I need to recharge. :) Girls are done too, makes me sad. Im already stressing about the summer alone, trying to keep them occupied. Uggg. Really, shoot me now.

Welcome back! I missed you and the Crazy sagas!

Good luck with the house, it's hard but it'll be so worth it when it's sold and you've got your new dream house!!!

I'm so glad you are back. I've missed your humor. (totally taking a break of my own though-I get it)

Good to see you back! Lucky for you, I only blog like once a month these days, so I'm pretty sure I haven't bogged down your reader.

Welcome back! All I can think about is how nice a mental health retreat sounds. Sign me up! Looking forward to hearing Bout the crazies again. My girls are total nut jobs as they approach 4. I thought people said it gets easier?!?!?!

I let out a squeal when I saw your post. Yes, I'm still that lame.

How crappy is the housing market currently? We're looking to buy out the in-laws and aren't sure what to do with our house. Can't you sell the house "as-is", as in with all the hair and toys?? It gives it that home-y touch!

We're all a little elitist sometimes. I certainly am!

I was so excited to see a post from you in my FB feed. I popped over, and you already had 6 comments, I think. I guess I wasn't the only one anxiously awaiting Rebecca. [Hmmm...perhaps a title for an autobiography for you?]

We're starting to get a taste of sibling rivalry here, I think. B is fine alone, but she often won't get involved (playing ball, doing a puzzle, playing Memory) if her sister is playing. It's kinda sad, really.

You are one brave mama to have a house on the market! Hope your new digs will have that office space you dream of.

And can't wait to hear how soccer goes this fall!

Welcome Back! I've missed your posts! I love how you just write how I'd speak. Awesome.

I look to you as inspiration on my project MILF. I am a newly adoptive mom but I do have baby weight even though I did not squeeze my baby out of my vagina. THe weight is from years of fertility drugs but the general public just needs to know that I have a four month old and I've been to whooped to work out. That's about to changed.

i secretly emailed your student so that they wouldn't show up...that way i could get a blog post out of you!!! yay!

holla! so glad to see this post yesterday! :)

i'm sure that the housing market/open houses/move/etc will provide for some great blog fodder, no?

hopefully you're back for a bit. i'm beginning to feel alone in my daily glass of wine! :)

Woo hoo! Glad to see a post from Casa de Crazies.

I love Matt's answer about the bad day...it sounds just like something my Addison would say. The threes are in full swing at our house!

Good luck with the house. We sold ours when the girls were 8 months old. It was beyond ridiculous, but we survived! Are you staying nearby?

I know how busy you have been lately, and hopefully things settle down (yeah right). Wishful thinking.

We ALL missed you! Welcome back!

I don't envy you in putting the house up for sale...I can't even imagine at this point. I've seriously just wanted to rent a dumpster lately and throw all our shit in it!! I can't wait for a free day once school is out and I plan to take trash bags to the kids' bedrooms and play room.

And dogs shedding? its driving me crazy right now, too!!

If you have wood floors, I'd say sure for the Roomba...but if carpet - don't waste your money. Hubby got me one last year for my birthday/mothers day gift. I was pissed. Its worthless.

Love Matt's comment about his day...I can totally imagine Adam saying something like that one day soon!

Who cares if you are an elitist?! I am totally an elitist :) It's not that I think I am a more valuable human being than everyone else... I'm just better :)

i hope hte house sells fast - it can't be easy to keep it"ready" with 2 kids and a dog!

i chuckled a little at the mercurial comment - mostly because i enjoyed the same smut recently and randomly think about cable ties in a whole new light.

I've missed your posts so much and the craziness of the Crazies! It seriously helps me stay sane with me 3 year old... and know that I'm not the only one struggling with this age! Must be the weather... I've had A LOT of sibling rivalry too:(!

Best of luck with the Open House... can't wait to keep hearing updates!

Yay! You're back!! Missed you, kiddo! Hey, Manda, I threatened him! Get the Roomba - Aunt Karen let me use her Haan machine to steamclean the floor while I was taking care of her - it was awesome - no streaks, no chemicals. Imagine, she "let" me clean her house! Well, I didn't think she should do it while she is recovering from hip replacement.
